Bill Bailey and the BBC Orchestra - Cosmic Shindig - Red Nose Day Friday 16th March 2007
After years of being at the top, Bill Bailey is still the untouchable god-prince of musical comedy. His stand up is so good that he could do a show without touching an instrument but we’ve decided to see what happens when we let him loose on the BBC Concert Orchestra. All we can tell you is that it will be a great jamboree, will involve much laughter (on and off stage), probably a theremin or two and the wonderful Anne Dudley at the helm trying to keep everyone together. Bill Bailey, star of BBC 2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Channel 4’s Black Books, is no stranger to live performance. His most recent show, Part Troll, sold out a 42-date national tour followed by 10 weeks in London’s West End. Come and join us for an evening of fun, laughter and music.
