Picture the scene: you don’t know anyone, you feel uncomfortable, you don’t know what to say. Sound familiar? There’s hope! Anyone can master making conversation or working the room. This is my second Audio Book I haved ripped myself. The first was “The Art of Friendship” which can be found at bottom of this post.
I found The Art of Friendship quite disappointing in the end. It didn’t teach hardly any in-depth study on “The Art of Friendship” which was the reason why I bought the cd. Plus I felt like it was made in the 60’s for 60+ Granddads.
So after I decided to open up the ‘The Art of Mingling’ from the box where it has been sitting there for over 2 weeks. I wasn’t to excited on listen to this one. But after I listened to the first cd (4 part cd). My mind was completely changed. This book is probably the most entertaining, straight to the point and honest book I have listen to. Jeanne Martinet the author who reads the book herself is very funny and very honest about mingling. From experince she gives in-depth detail on how to mingle. (Plus the reality is that this is a long 4 part cd, so it has to!)
I would actually recommend you buy this book. Obvously not for yourself because you get it for free ;). But for a gift for a friend. They will certainly appreciate this book because its the thought that counts! (Sorry I had to plug this book because its good and I’m feeling a little guilty for ripping it…)
The quality is the same as The Art of Friendship
